The family
Old River landed in Italy in 1991, after getting itself known in France and the major European cities, on a project by the Cataldo family, one of the best known Sicilian entrepreneurial families in the men’s clothing sector. In Palermo, Old River finds a new dimension and learns the Italian style’s aesthetic and values: the Cataldo family starts to make new collections rigorously Made in Italy.
Palermo Store
Via Libertà, the central shopping street in Palermo, is chosen as the first location for the very first Italian store of Old River. Thanks to the success acquired, a new store rises a few years later in Palermo, in the splendid setting of Via Sciuti. The Cataldo family relies on an experienced and professional team of sales assistants accompanying the customer in their purchase process with care and politeness. Today the Via Sciuti store is the only one opened and the headquarters of the Old River brand in Palermo and Italy.
Our mission
The customers are our main focus: we love to tell everyone that comes to visit us in our shop the Old River brand and family’s story that we decided to adopt. For us, Old River is a lifestyle. Each new customer is a discovery, and our goal is to help him choose the right clothes that can express his personality.
